In the Level II Birth of a Warrior program, we focus on deepening the meditation practice through the cultivation of contentment and simplicity. Through understanding the painful conditions and emotions that keep us trapped in habitual patterns, we can open to our inherent goodness and express the qualities of gentleness, appreciation and steadiness.  We observe more directly how our habitual fear and anxiety can lose its power when we confront it directly in an atmosphere of gentleness. We begin to appreciate that there is no fundamental obstacle to experiencing basic goodness.

As with Level I, this weekend includes individual and group meditation instruction, teachings by a senior director, and opportunities to socialize with fellow participants.

Prerequisite: Shambhala Training Level 1

Generosity Policy

In order to make our programs accessible to everyone, we have a “pay what you can afford” policy. If the program price is an obstacle for you, please decide what works for you and offer whatever you can.

For those who can offer more than the program price, we have a “patron price”.
Your generosity in offering the patron price helps cover the costs for others who are
not able to pay the full price.

Some programs may have a minimum amount set to ensure we can cover our costs in offering the program. If the minimum donation amount is still an obstacle for you, please contact [email protected].
