Dharma book discussion

April 7th

Date details +
    Room: Lakewood Center

Our dharma book discussion will be held on the 1st and 2nd Sunday of each month.  We will discuss one chapter each week.  You are encouraged, though not required, to read beforehand.  We have extra books to borrow during our discussion.  In an increasingly polarized world, Pema offers us tools to find common ground, even when we disagree so that we can build a stronger and broader sense of community.  We experience unexpected and unwelcome events constantly in our lives.  We can’t change this fact.  But what we can change is how we react to it and use the tools to cope with how we pick up the pieces and cope with suffering.

Chapters will be read aloud and discussed.  If you would like to purchase a copy, we have a few at the Center for purchase.  You can support local bookstores in person or via Bookshop.org, or check your local library or purchase from Amazon.
